First time staying at a hostel and it was a great experience! The Barn is very clean, modern, and has convenient amenities like daily refresh of towels, slippers during your stay, a bar on site, plenty of seating to relax, and they offer bar snacks up until midnight. The bed was also super comfy. We enjoyed opening the window and having the fresh Icelandic air come in. I would stay here again!

Beautiful property near waterfalls, root cellars and the town of Vik. Close to multiple black sand beaches. Restaurant and bar onsite seems good, no gluten free options, so bring your own food.

Nicest hostel I ever stayed, really top class. Great kitchen (everything you need to cook and clean) and common areas. Shared bathroom felt luxurious and clean. Not very far from Vik if you have a car. Lovely quiet surroundings. A gem!!!

The Barn was very comfortable and super Clean - my first time in a hostel. Location is gorgeous and the rooms were clean. The kitchen was super organized and felt like home. Staff was really kind and helpful- would stay here again for sure!

Stayed in 4 bed double bed dormitory. Hostel itself was good just be aware of other people might not be respecting the quiet hours. People check in at mid-night and unpacking, keep moving luggage and open the light. Alarms and message notifications keep ring from 4am. Only barely got few hours sleep on and off.
