The staff did an exceptional job of taking care of all of our needs. A first class operation from the top down. The food was very good. I enjoyed the local food as well as western food. The pool was elegant.

Probably not worth staying in Halong City itself in the low season not much is happening unless you just want a night to relax before or after the cruise

Ha Long Bay itself is beautiful but I don't recommend more than a day trip or 2 days if you can stay somewhere nice with a pool e.t.c there isn't a lot to do in Ha Long Bay

Abysmal, nothing open and not an inviting place!! Loved the trip to Halong Bay and the cable car, apart from that we weren’t impressed with the rest of Halong.
