"The hotel is not too far from the central areas of Hai Phong. It's a new hotel, and has 2 floors dedicated as a wedding hall. The staff were friendly and spoke a little English. The room was sparkling clean and white, everything is new. Nice big LG TV if you're into flipping around. Didn't use the kitchenette, but it came with all pots and pans if I needed it. Bathroom was clean and new, shower was hot and water pressure very high. My few gripes with the place: I'm 6 feet tall, and the bed...

"Cat Ba View Hotel may not be the most modern or luxurious hotel, and it doesn't offer amenities like a pool or gym, but what it lacks in facilities, it more than makes up for in hospitality. This is a small, family-run hotel, and Nam, the owner, along with his family, truly went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Their genuine kindness, warmth, and exceptional hospitality made our stay memorable. It's the kind of personal attention and care that you rarely find at larger hotels. If you're planning a visit to Cat Ba, I highly recommend staying here. Don't let the lack of luxury amenities discourage you. What makes this place special isn't the building or the facilities, but the wonderful people who run it. We'd happily stay here again!"
