"Very fresh and well decorated - great facilities, and in a extremely good location. Only missing some very minor quality of life items - such as handsoap in the bathroom, general cleaning items, a better washing up sponge and spare bin bags. Easily rectified, though!"

"The hotel itself was excellent, as were the staff. The attached restaurant however, was atrocious. The service was practically non existent. We had tea and (very nice) cake there in the afternoon (eventually), and when we turned up for breakfast the next morning, our tea dishes were still on the table. At dinner time we sat for fifteen minutes before having to go and find someone to take our order. Frozen chips took a hour to arrive. In the morning, despite arriving 15mins after breakfast was advertised, we were told that the chef hadn’t turned up yet. When we were eventually served, the advertised ‘fry up’ meal was made up of the cheapest ingredients eg frankfurter sausages. We were mostly the only customers at the restaurant, and now we know why. This really put us off what was a wonderful hotel."
