"I booked a room for my son under his name because he was traveling to the area on company business. After working all day and arriving close to midnight, he was informed by the front desk clerk that he could not check in because I had paid for the reservation, despite his name being listed on it. Given the late hour, he had no choice but to find and pay for another hotel room. To make matters worse, the hotel refused to refund the original reservation. This is a very disappointing way to treat customers. Not only did it create an unnecessary hardship for a tired traveler arriving late at night, but the lack of flexibility and customer service was unacceptable. Unfortunately, this decision will cost them far more than the price of a single room. Our company conducts business in the area regularly and has employees traveling there several times each month. Based on this experience, we will not be staying at this property again."

"When we first entered our room the smell of cigarettes was absolutely terrible, as well as while I was trying to unpack my luggage I stepped on a live cockroach crawling around the carpet in the room, disgusting! Then when I went downstairs to change rooms when we got to our second room the door was already cracked open and it looked like someone had previously busted down the door and they “fixed” it with a piece of wood and the door had a gap in it when you closed it! At least the ac was working okay in the second room because the first room only blew out hot air. Absolutely would not stay here again. "
