"The website offered a pool and free breakfast included. When we arrived it had neither. The carpets were filthy, the bathtub had no means to plug the tub and was dirty. The internet offered did not work. This hotel chain had apparently recently been purchased and is undergoing reno. I think it's bad business to continue using the facilities in a state of despair while undergoing reno. It should be closed during reno. And it is false advertisement to offer amenities that are not truly available....

"The comfort was phenomenal, those needs were amazing and with the atmosphere around it feels so cozy! The old fashioned elevator is available during active work hours because a staff member has to run the old fashioned crank, but it just adds to the charm. They have TVs with a whole ton of streaming services. You can either watch or log into your own on amongst all the old fashioned stuff.
There is a room on the third floor that constantly has access to free coffee and snacks in a continental style, the options were nice and more diverse than I was expecting. They also have a Keurig if you wish to bring your own pods from home.
It's a very popular place among locals, the live music was fun and the food tasted amazing. I got the mile high steak and it came with shrimp and it wasn't too bad priced either, food was hot and the workers were kind.
Now what nobody tells you is that this is in the coziest little neighborhood. There's an ice cream and froyo place across the street that's the cutest little thing, very friendly neighborhood and a theater for plays right around the corner.

"Have stayed here a few times. Always have had an easy, pleasant exchange with Staff. Rooms were always clean and well stocked. The Breakfast nook has been well kept and attended. The seating area is spacious enough that I never felt crowded. Definitely my preferred stay when I am in the area!"

"Only issue, front desk person not at desk when arrived to check in. Ive stayed there 2 weeka in a row on a Friday. Neither hweek, were front desk personnel at desk when I arrived.
The forst Friday, staff was friendly amd apologized for not being at desk. 2nd Friday, a male coming thru from maintenence (maybe) was going to help me, when girl finally ce around corner. No apologies or welcoming. She just did the task of checking me in.
Everything else about the hotel was fantastic. Enjoyed my stay very much"
