"Although the lodge we stayed in had all the amenities, it was starting to look a little tired. The gas fire was a very welcome feature after a cold and wet hike on the mountain. The Tavern served lovely food, the breakfast choice was good, the staff were very friendly and the surrounding area was stunning. The walks around the hotel were beautiful. An added bonus for us was seeing the local wombats at dusk "

"Parking is tight and there is noise from the pub and the surrounding areas so factor that into your considerations but the pub itself is great and the location is tremendous, right on the water."
