"There are two Ibis hotels near the Royal Mile zone of Edinburgh and this one is further in the south, still only a short walk to Waverley Station and pretty much everywhere you'd like to walk to in the city. It is quiet and private, even ithe hotel front faces the busy street and busy traffic. Many restaurants and convenience stores are just outside, super easy to grab sandwiches and drinks outside"

"Great breakfast, wonderful staff and really good location. My only negative comment is the pull down blinds were quite tattered and safe wasn’t working on check in but they replaced safe door right away and taped up blinds to provide darkness in room. They were very responsive to my room issues and everyone I met was beyond nice and helpful. The Scottish breakfast was wonderful!! I 1000% appreciate that they provided my requested room! Thank you!! I will stay there next year because they are such good people!! And good room!"

"Hotel was very clean, friendly and helpful staff. We chose to have breakfast included many options and food selection. On one morning we scheduled an early morning tour the staff prepared a to go box for our excursion. Hotel was close to some other good dining options. Close to bus stop and train station. Overall really enjoyed our stay."
