Fantastic stay. Really welcoming and helpful team working there and all fluent in English (my only language). Bar with 'snacks' available 24 hours was great, especially as the snacks where more like meals including Chicken Curry (delicious) and lasagne etc. The drain in my shower was very slow and did smell slightly if left for a while with the window closed and fan off, otherwise would have been full 5 stars. Everything else clean and well looked after. Would definitely use Ibis again.

We tour Belgium for a few days. We used Ibis on a couple of times This one near the Atomium was fine albeit a little 'older', a little more 'worn out as its counterpart.

Xmas Treat to self
Disappointed that there were No tea making facilities in the room unlike all the other Ibis hotels i have visited in the last 10 years. Not having a car meant a 20 minute walk each way to the shopping area to buy eats but on the plus side the room was very comfortable although the wooden panel floor was very cold and particularly noisy from the person upstairs who seemed to be moving furniture around for no reason. The reception staff were lovely and appreciated how cold it was outside and one evening provided me with a lovely hot cup of tea which was very much appreciated. Not so appreciative one late evening was someone trying to enter My room with their door card and actually had the cheek to knock on My door.
You dont have to drive far to get fuel...

Nice, but smelly
The staff was super nice and super helpful. But the hotel was dirty. The room smelled of cigarette smoke, their were cigarette burns in the furniture. It just felt old and dated.

Good value hotel, close to Atomium / Brussels Expo
Small but perfectly good value hotel situated a few minutes walk from the Atomium / Brussels Expo. Staff were very friendly and helpful and the quality of the breakfast, although ready prepared due to the buffet being closed for COVID safety, was good. Bed was comfortable and got a good night's rest, followed by a good shower in the morning. Heysel / Heizel Metro station to get to/from the centre of the city is about a 15 minute walk. Simply tap on the barrier with a contactless card to enter the platforms, the ticket machine is only for charging prepaid travel cards and displays conflicting information (there is a sticker on the floor by the entrance detailing the correct procedure without a pre-paid card but it's easy to miss and walk over as you head straight to the ticket machine)

Disappoint stay
The bedroom was very cold as the heating wasn't working. A small portable heater was included in the room but it was too noisy to keep on. The towels also hadn't been cleaned probably and were still dirty.

It is OK. The proximity to Brussels Expo is great but the hotel needs to train its new hired people better. I had to ask three times for the in-room coffee station to be cleaned - which was merely replacing the one used cup and replenishing the tea bags etc which is regularly done as part of room cleaning.

It was good staying, stuff was pleasant, breakfast was a bit poor, I missed omlettes, scrumbeled eggs. Maybe some sausages for breakfast. Room was overall clean, but curtains I did not like.

Brussels business business trip
Ideal location for a business trip at the nearby University or Expo. Comfortable bed and good breakfast but general area around the hotel is very basic and lacking many amenities. Couple of reasonable restaurants within short walking distance and the hotel has a decent bar.

Basic hotel - clean, comfortable and convenient.
The advantage of IBIS hotels is that arriving at 1am poses no problem. Helpful and friendly staff. The room was clean and tidy and the bed comfortable. Being on the outskirts of Brussels the area is a bit desolate . It is close to the main routes to the centre of Brussels and to the ring road making it easily accessible by road.

Why would you want to stay in an office block
Hotel is in an office block, reception in a room on the first floor which is ok. Rooms are quite big with a kitchen, no facilities in this hotel to eat or even get a cup of coffee but there are places nearby. Good WiFi. Very average continental breakfast nothing hot.

The hotel is ideally situated for expo purposes but the surrounding area leaves a lot to be desired. There’s no convenience stores and lots of work being carried out. There are a couple of restaurants nearby and some bars and cafes about 15 minutes walk away. The hotel has a decent selection of food and beers so you don’t ‘need’ to leave it and the staff are very helpful

At first we weren't impressed by the location of the hotel but we actually enjoyed everything about our stay. We enjoyed being able to walk to the expo center and enjoyed all the food places near there near the expo which was a 5 minute walk away. It was perfect for our visit.

Perfect place for a stay for a concert!
Very happy here! We were there for Queen + Adam Lambert, and it could not have gone smoother. The bar after the show was a lively meeting place. Excellent friendly service at the front desk!!

There was so hair in the shower but not a big deal. I could of used more pillows but also not a big deal. As for the location, great for the concert venue but not for anything yet.

Comfortable but noisy
Friendly, helpful staff and a comfortable room made this stay OK. The neighbourhood is a bit grim and the room wasn't very clean (although the bedding was clean and fresh, but the main problem with this hotel is noise. The hotel is by a very busy road, which can be heard all night long, and all the floors (in the rooms and hallways) are wood, and there are no soft furnishings whatsoever to absorb noise, so the hotel is noisy inside as well.

Male Hotel Receptionist was very unhelpful to female Bar assistant, reusing to help here when very bust refusing to change currency forcing her to leave bar and change currency in reception while he watched, POOR SHOW

The hotel staff couldn't be any nicer and accommodating. Fact is though that the location and condition of the hotel are pretty limiting. Only if you're on a budget, have your own transportation and need to be in the direct Expo area, would I recommend it.

just what i needed
Needed a place to stay that will give good access to the brussels ring in a quiet place for a reasonable price. The ibis was perfect, just 3 minutes and you are on the ring! The staff was helpful and breakfest was ok. I was very happy with my stay.

Receptionist was helpful, bed comfortable. A short drive to the hospital, reasonably priced for Brussels, we have stayed a few times now and would do so again.
