"Sadly there was no breakfast though my booking had implied breakfast included. But a lovely member of staff did spontaneously drum up a comprehensive continental breakfast (including croissants) for my daughter and me. Thanks for this! We had the room wth the river view very nice. "

"This is a nice Swiss hotel. The shower is very small by American standards and there is no air conditioning. If it is unusually hot that would be an issue. It is clean and well appointed. I have stayed several times and will do so again. "

"It was absolutely fantastic. An old Villa transformed in a boutique hotel with great personality. It is like to be at home but even better! Many languages are spoken there! Rooms are gigantic and furniture is practical yet with a neat design, although the rooms look very romantic. The cosy lounge at the first floor with the balcony and the garden outside complete the picture...."

"The perfect hotel to stay in when in Bern. Great location walkable to everything and hotel was very modern and updated inside. Wonderful rain shower and very comfortable beds. Would definitely stay there again. The front desk staff were extremely friendly and helpful. "

"Had a bit of a hard time getting on the right road to access the hotel. Once there the room and staff were great. In fact in the morning there were 2 buses of people who overwhelmed the breakfast area, literally taking all the food as soon as it came out, leaving nothing for other guests who were not willing to be so pushy. The poor cook and staff were in tears but did an excellent job holding it together. They tried to accommodate those of us not with the foreign travelers on the busses. It was the craziest behavior of people at a breakfast buffet we have ever seen. The staff was excellent in such a weird frenzy. "

Very easy walking distance to everything in the old town, safe, clean, and the beds were very comfortable too. The showerhead was the most massive showerhead I’ve ever seen in a bathroom and it felt amazing."
