As someone who travels a lot, I can definitely say that this hotel doesn't qualify as a 4-star hotel. It's actually a 3-star hotel by all standards. The sink looks normal-sized in the photo, but in reality, it's so small that even a small person can't even wash their hands without splashing water all over themselves.

Central location in Bern. The staff was incredible and very friendly and helpful. Seems to be a hot spot for after work businesses. The breakfast was very good and the Brie and jam on their delicious bread is second to none. My girls ran in the morning down by the river and the city seems very safe. Walkable to all of the things. We love this hotel and Bern. We were too late in the year to do the river swim, too cold, but if you travel in the warmer months put this on your list. The rooms were clean and had ample room for the 5 of us traveling. We used 2 rooms. The rooms had a little wear and tear on them but we would definitely stay here again.

The hotel and accommodations were great. Unfortunately we were here during a heat wave and the A/C was not working. Staff did make efforts to repair and even offered to switch rooms. The eventual solution was staff providing a fan and that made it comfortable.

Very quaint hotel with great service. Breakfast was continental and well supplied. The washroom was a little tight for me but was very usable. Close to the train station and lots of amenities like restaurants and grocery close by. A bit on the expensive side but everything in Switzerland is lol

Bern Visit

The property is a short walk from the bus and train stations and very convenient to the old city. My stay was not very long but the hotel offered a free drink if I did not require additional housekeeping, which I felt was a great perk. The restaurant looked busy during business hours. The front desk staff was very attentive and helpful. The room was a little tight in size but ample enough as I was traveling solo; the bed was otherwise very comfortable. Would recommend to others.

Staff was always very friendly and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable. I appreciated having a fridge, coffee, and tea in the room. Also liked the online system to request items. The hotel was very close to the station. Loved our stay and would definitely stay here again.

Located right by the main Bern train station/tram hub and within the beautiful old town. The property is stylish and well decorated. They offer a free drink coupon if you opt out of housekeeping for that particular day.

The hotel is near shopping stores and restaurants.The only problem is the bathroom- when you shower you wet the whole floor but it dries after a few hours.
