I know the desired "vibe" is that of a cozy, quaint accommodation, but I would rather have less cozy and more comfort and convenience. There's no mini fridge, and our room had only one chair. There was only a bar along the wall to hang clothes. The bathroom was quite large. I'd rather have less bathroom and more room. An upgrade was suggested at check-in for a room with a balcony, but as I saw from the outside, the balconies were tiny and IMO not worth the extra $. I have stayed in many hotels and motels, and I have never been charged for a continental breakfast. For $20+, the charge seemed way out of line - especially for such a limited selection. Having said all that, I really liked the sitting/lounge area. The access to a variety of complimentary beverages was much appreciated. The staff were very pleasant, and the location is very convenient for transportation and eats. It's a short walk to the CBD. As much as it seems I have complained, we did enjoy our stay. Still though, it wouldn't take much to make it an exceptional hotel. Make the rooms more accommodating - add a chair. Add a minifridge. Put in an armoire. Provide a complimentary continental breakfast. Really... those are little things that would make a big difference.

Such a stunning place!! The rooms were immaculate and spacious. The bathrooms were beautiful and there was an abundance of towels! My favourite aspects were the short walk to the Novotel facilities, the air con and most of all the view onto the golf course with all the kangaroo visitors! It was so peaceful and restful. Also the Novotel staff were very courteous and helpful. You're missing out if you don't visit!

Tried to call the hotel was put on hold for longer than 35 minutes, which I don’t think is acceptable and then at the end of the day the call was disconnected. Could not get hot water when I went to take a bath shower in the evening ran it for at least 5 to 10 minutes. Still no hot water. I think the hotel is overrated. It’s old needs to be updated.
