Two Bears Cabin: Secluded Mountain Retreat near Lake Isabel.
10/10 Excellent
"Two Bears cabin is a gem -- a beautiful and peaceful location, but inside, with everything you could possibly want. The owners (who live adjacent to the cabin) find the sweet spot between being close by in case you need them, but unobtusive otherwise. From the cabin you can't even see their house!Unfortunately our trip was cut short by the Aspen Acres fire. The cabin lost power on the first morning of our stay, and given the magnitude and rapid movement of that fire, it was clear that restoring power to this property would not be happening any time soon. The owners immediately refunded us for the unused portion of our stay. If you are looking for a getaway in beautiful sceneray that is away from people, traffic, etc., but you still want your creature comforts, this is the place for you."
"Very old, the parking lot was uneven and hard to walk across. The staff was wonderful, esp since they were inundated with evacuees from Colorado wild fires. The breakfast was great. Could use a grab bar in shower, for us oldsters!"
"Great place for a small mountain town. Staff was very helpful and promptly answered when questions arose. Room was clean Would have been better if swimming pool had been available. Also would have been helpful to have elevator"

"This property was amazing! Perfect for our family of 5 to get away for a few days. The kids had a blast, it was incredibly clean, and Crystal was so helpful and friendly. We loved every part of our stay here and would recommend it to anyone!"
"My husband and I (along with our little pup) loved staying here and exploring the grounds! The little town is also charming. About a 10 minutes walk from the local coffee shop and restaurant."
