Great place to stay for couples or family. Beautiful scenery and tastefully decorated interior. Everything was spotless and clean, and this is a big deal to me, so I was not disappointed! We were here for only a night, but would love to return in the future.
I absolutely love staying at this cabin. My 2nd time staying and I look forward to staying again. It was spotless, the linens were of excellant quality. It provided everything we needed to cook with, it was a full service kitchen. Plenty of space to gather and visit with friends and family.
So peaceful and Joe was awesome with communicating, checking g in on us if we needed anything. 5 star plus plus. L. Cash
This cozy cabin was perfect for all six of us with room to spare. Everything was clean and neat with many extra touches to make it like home. The peaceful setting was very relaxing along with lots of fun in the Rec Room! This will be a repeat stay when we get back to the area. I highly recommend this cozy cabin for a mountain getaway!
Clean, quiet, everything was there we needed. The yard was fenced in which was nice for my kids to run around. Lots of wildlife to see. We really loved our stay. It was just what we needed. Host was great. We would definitely come back.
The cabin had everything we could need for our getaway; it was in a quiet area and the property was beautiful. The host was very responsive to any inquiries and considerate of our privacy. We really enjoyed our stay.
The owner was great at communicating with us. The place was in pristine condition. Beds & pillows were comfy as were the couches. The game room was awsome! The grandkids loved it!! . Every morning and evening we had a deer just munching away!
The host, Joe, was so welcoming and super responsive. He offered us the opportunity to check in early even though we couldn't make it early. So nice! And, when a minor issue with the fireplace came up, he had really great and competent person come by to fix it so fast we couldn't believe it. And they too were so nice. We LOVED the creekside location, the birds, and the overall setup. Plus, all the great walks!!
We LOVED this property! It's a beautiful, comfortable house and the outdoor area was wonderful. We were surrounded by Ponderosa Pines and the sound of the creek. So incredibly relaxing.
Joe is amazing! He was quick to respond to texts before we got there and while we were there. And he thought of everything his guests might need. It's the best equipped kitchen we've seen in any VRBO property.
We had fun playing table tennis and pool in the evening in the rec room. What a great idea and a fun space!
We hope to return again next year!
This property was amazing! Perfect for our family of 5 to get away for a few days. The kids had a blast, it was incredibly clean, and Crystal was so helpful and friendly. We loved every part of our stay here and would recommend it to anyone!
The cabin was great extremely peaceful and quiet. The swing out back really made it spent many hours just chilling and swinging. Plenty of deer on the property every day. The double car garage is a game room which was very nice. It’s in a good location about a mile from Rye close enough to walk to the cafe. The rye cafe has the best pizzas I’ve ever had. The host is wonderful. All in all everything about the place is a 10/10.
OMG... this place was wonderful... wish I could have stayed longer. In the trees, lots of outside room, private. Perfectly stocked with all the right appliances and accommodation for pets, kids, (none of that for me, I'm single w no kids), comfortable furnishings, lots of local history in books/art/artifacts and accessories, an old Vinyl record player and crates of Vinyl, NICE! Reading books, history books, recreational room w workout gear, nice spacious ranch style with lots of room, picnic setup, and so close to town. Extremely Well Done! I would make it a point to stay here again, nothing missing... nice country!
We had a great stay, everything was as described and a perfect location for our elopement! Joe was a great host and the cabin is quiet, clean and has lots to do right on site!
We booked the Cabin by the Creek for our small wedding and it exceeded our expectations. The property is amazing and the setting serene. Everything was perfect fo our special day!
It was a peaceful place to stay. Sitting outside under the tall pines, the sound of the creek and having everything we needed was a blessing. Fully stocked kitchen & comfortable beds with big picture windows that made you feel like you were still outside. Even though there were no kids with us - we adults enjoyed the game room just as much as they may have! Are only regret is that we weren't able to stay more than one night.
