"We love to stay in the historic center of the cities we visit. Trocadero Suites the rooms that are part of a 20's or 30's house that have been converted into suites of different sizes. Ours was the smallest and it was roomy, clean and had a refrigeratoor and coffee making facilities. A walk in ample shower with plenty of hot water,too. "Great hotel with very friendly staff. The street noise can be very loyd at night. If you have a room facing the afternoon sun the room takes a while to cool down. I recommend better insulating curtains, fans in the room, and to lower the room temperatures before check in so it is not so warm for rooms facing the afternoon sun. "

"This was a great hostal to stay in with our medium-sized dog as there was a large outdoor space on the upper terrace with a nice sitting area and lots of plants. The room itself was simple, clean, and comfortable. The shared bathroom was very basic, but fine for our needs. The shared kitchen was clean and well-stocked. The staff and other guests were friendly and we enjoyed our stay very much. Well-situated in the hip La Americana neighbourhood with lots of great restaurants, bars, and cafés...
