Unfortunately, with only a one-night stay, the late check-in (4p) and early checkout (10a) felt a bit rushed. It would be best enjoyed with more nights, or a slightly later checkout.     Sand Beach in Acadia National Park. The water will be cold, even in August, and its usually much busier than this, but it's always beautiful! Parking is limited so I recommend taking Acadia's free Island Explorer shuttle.
