A hotel room with a bed, two chairs, a desk, a painting on the wall, and a balcony with a view of palm trees and buildings.

1. GuestHouse Lugano University

Molino Nuovo

"At 65 and 67 yrs , we found the climb up to room 8 with luggage difficult. Consider that when booking. Bed was rather uncomfortable, and I believe we were instructed to leave the room as we found - ie-dishes clean but there was no dish tray or towel to dry. Best as a spot for younger people. It’s an easy walk from the train station but a heck of an uphill walk back. Most important. Clean and quiet . Tks"

A modern hallway with a dark door, a wall-mounted sign reading "VISIONAPARTMENTS," and a decorative plant arrangement.

2. VISIONAPARTMENTS Lugano

Lugano City-Centre

"We left check-in a bit too late which came a faff as we were approaching the property on public transport. You need to check-in to obtain an entry code for the building and your room. Our own fault - we should have read the instructions earlier and checked-in to get the code. All good in the end though - the apartment was immaculate, well sited for access across the city and we'd certainly recommend to others and would revisit."

3. ICON H Lugano – Luxury Suites & Apartments

Viganello

"Very happy with Icon. Entrance and access were convenient and easy, location very good, with bus stops within a 2-3 minute walk, the Lido/Cassarate area only 12-15 minute walk, and downtown only a 20-minute or so walk. The building was modern, and accommodation was very nice. Murphy bed very comfy, good kitchen and a very good bathroom with a rain showerhead. Nothing but nice things to say...we really loved it! "

Villa Rêverie - Boutique Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"The villa was exceptionally clean, perfectly located near town and the train station, breakfast was fantastic and the staff made everything wonderful. I could not imagine staying in the overly crowded villages other than Bellano where the villa is located. If I ever return to Lake Como, there is absolutely no other place we will stay. I cannot recommend the property enough."

Albergo Terminus Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"By chance I chose this property for my stay in Como. What a HUGE blessing! The staff was so helpful and kind and I truly loved the accents! The property is stunning and lures you in from the moment you pull into the drive with vines and architecture surrounding you. Enter thru a beautiful entry with a winding red carpet stairway that leads you to an enchanting room of old world charm and luxury. I wanted to drink coffee all day and read a book in this room. In fact every common area you wanted to spend time in like it was a hope of a royal family. We then entered our room! I was so very pleased and excited...I felt like royalty. So clean, very elegant and a view! The windows are adorned with beautiful curtains and wooded shutters to block the light from the windows that open out to the view of lake and courtyard of the city! This is worth every dime you spend to stay."
