"Spacious and smartly presented inside, but in need of some TLC outside, the VRBO description overstates the appeal of the "historic villa". "As soon as you step through the doors, you'll be greeted by a majestic entrance hall of 30m2," but the main door is not used - you are told to use the side door which opens straight into the kitchen so the first thing you see (and walk into) is the kitchen counter where the hob is. The upstairs bedrooms are very spacious as descibed but the downstairs...

"Nous avons passé 3 semaines magnifiques et dépaysantes en famille dans cette tres belle maison au milieu de la foret. Grande maison avec sa dépendance pour les amis et grande piscine. Les prestations sont de tres bon niveau et Mark, le proprietaire, est sympathique, tres reactif et efficace. Il faut juste savoir communiquer en anglais. Je recommande cette maison qui a été largement a la hauteur de nos attentes."
