I travel frequently for business - sometimes I stay at a heavily trodden airport hotels, sometimes at the Four Seasons - the former are usually 3 star types of places and I'd still stay there if circumstances require, but of course I prefer the 5 star hotels.
The positives: You can park right outside the front door -easy to get luggage in; host is very responsive; comfortable size of unit, bedrooms, and baths; photos/amenities are as advertised; adequate kitchen for most needs good parking - we had same spot all weekend.
The negatives: didn't matter to us, but it is a ground floor unit and people parking in front can look right in- can be addressed by closing the blinds; the master bath shower backs up, if you have small kids, the twin beds one bedroom have drawers underneath so the beds are elevated and without a safety rail - I put chairs beside the beds for safety; the carpeting is worn and felt in need of cleaning - I felt a need to have socks on when walking around; housekeeping needs to pay more attention to detritis under, behind furniture; it's a mile walk to the village, which isn't bad if you like to walk - of course we knew this when renting as it's obvious on the map - but we'll likely get something closer in next time and pay a premium for it.
None of this affected our enjoyment of Grand Lake. There are cleanliness issues as noted, but it is a tidy unit
