"Good location next to the train station. The hotel is undergoing some sort of refurbishment so our room had scaffolding outside the window. No big deal really. The room was pretty good but the bathroom needs some maintenance. A great welcome on the front desk if the hotel. Overall a good value stay."

it was wonderful to have such a warm welcome to the property. It is beautifully presented. You can sit outside in the gardens, charge you car if required. The breakfast was delicious, the home made jam was really nice. it is a hidden gem

What a lovely place to stay. Very nice garden and people. Very pretty part of town.
Room was small but delightfully decorated and lovely view of garden.
Had a bit of trouble working out the shower temp but eventually got it right!

The annexe rooms are separate to the pub and spacious. Tea, coffee, hot chocolate and water are provided but there is no fridge in the room. There are ground floor and first floor rooms with ensuites. The shower was good and the beds were comfortable.
A full breakfast is provided but book ahead if you want dinner in the restaurant. The pub side was crowded on the Friday night but the restaurant is separate and quieter. The food was reasonable and service was good. Onsite parking is easy and...

Our hosts were amazing, very welcoming and eager to please. We had a delicious 3 course dinner prepared for us at a very low cost. The full breakfast was fantastic too.
