If you’re looking for a room with a view, and close access to hiking, this is a great spot! The lodge restaurant is convenient and you can even order and take to your room or outside to eat. There are lots of trails within minutes!
Always love staying at the Peaks of Otter. Special views and lodge atmosphere that is both rustic and elegant. Staff is wonderful. Would highly recommend if you love mountains and nature.
It was a hidden treasure located in the mountains. It was quiet and peaceful, and the staff was very nice.. I look forward to staying there again if I’m ever in the area.
It was a wonderful place to stay. So peaceful. Everyone was very friendly. It wss so easy to take our dog out the porch door and walk to the lake. Would definitely be staying there again.

BREAKFAST REALLY EXPENSIVE- COFFEE AND OJ $3.79 EACH.
ROOMS JUST LOOKED TIRED/USED. AIR COND LOUD.
REALLY DIFFICULT PLCE ANYONE WITH WALKING ISSUES.
BUT THE LOCATION ON THE LAKE WAS BEAUTIFUL
THIS WAS OUR THIRD STAY IN 15 YEARS
Our room was nice and clean. We enjoyed the outdoor patio area. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed dinner and breakfast in the dinning room. Both meals were delicious and prepared well. We enjoyed lovely walks around the property.
Tucked into the mountains and overlooking a small lake, this is a very special place to stay. It's perfect if you want to continue your national park experience overnight, but prefer a very comfy bed over a tent. I can't recall the last time I encountered such warm, welcoming staff. They helped make this a very memorable part of our travels and we hope to return soon.
The lodge reminded me of lodges of the past...clean, comfortable, no added frills. Dining room/ servers were so friendly and the food was good(fries could have been hotter)
We liked our stay. The blinds did not go up and because some strings were frayed and there was a bit of mold in the bathroom. They view was wonderful and we saw lots of deer. The beds and pillows were very comfortable and the air conditioning worked great. People that work there are supper friendly.
We had three nights at Peaks of Otter Lodge. We loved the nostalgic feel to the lodge. Rooms aren't fancy here. But very clean. And the view from every room is stunning. The grounds were well manicured. Such a peaceful place.
The restaurant staff was wonderful. The food was delicious.
We are so glad we chose this beautiful place to celebrate our 45th anniversary.

Liked: Cleanliness
We had a very quick overnight stay, and did arrive fairly late. Even though we had contacted the hotel that we were coming, we still had to wait a good 10 minutes for any staff member to check us in. The hotel rooms were dated but clean. The location is BEAUTIFUL. Overall it worked fine for what my family needed for the evening..

The room was clean. However, because the facility was old, it had a musty odor of mold and mildew. I am allergic to mold and spent the night in our vehicle. My children were unaffected and slept well. Otherwise, the grounds were well-kept and pretty. The staff was very friendly,

Beautiful place peaceful and quiet and great Staff love this place, good food
1 night stay $183.00. Walked into room and it stunk like mildew, wet carpet, locker room that has never been cleaned. Carpet was old and felt greasy and stringy. Cushions on chairs were so flat and smelled old and musky. No microwave or refrigerator of any type. Bathroom had mildew growing on shower tiles. Way too much money for this. The view was beautiful.....
