"I don't like to put negative reviews, but please DO NOT go to this homestay. The description misrepresents the services and experience offered.
When we came in, it seemed like the staff was not expecting us, as they had us wait outside for a while before we had to ask to be taken to our room. Also, the posting said the people at the homestay spoke Hindi and English, but it turned out that they only spoke Kannada and Hindi. Thankfully, I spoke Hindi so I was able to manage. Also, the posting said the people at the homestay spoke Hindi and English, but it turned out that they only spoke Kannada and Hindi. Thankfully, I spoke Hindi so I was able to manage. During the check in, they said I needed to pay an additional Rs. 2,000 because I have an additional guest, even though the base rate is for 2 guests. When we got to the room, they informed us that we have to pay for breakfast, even though it is posted that it's included. They also did not give us the WiFi information, even though the network was so poor (so I couldn't pull up the reservation details).
We realized that they are trying to cheat us, so we decided not to have breakfast and leave at the earliest in the morning. While the room was clean, the amenities was poor. The bathroom did not have a sink! Also the bedroom only had a fan, but it made an unnerving creaking sound every few seconds which kept me awake. To make things worse, the electricity went out for hours at night.
To say the least, we had a terrible experience. This is a very suspicious place that did not feel safe. Please support a business that is honest and cares for their guests."

Plenty of ways to stay entertained, including indoor games and a swimming pool.
Convenient amenities like free parking (just outside the premises) and room service.
The on-site restaurant adds to the comfort of staying in.
What Could Be Better:
The room lighting needs a serious upgrade-apart from a bedside lamp, there's no proper light source, making the space feel dim, especially in the evenings.
While the glass ceiling in the bathroom is a great concept, the execution needs work-it leaks, keeping the bathroom floor constantly wet and slippery.
With the rainy weather, basic provisions like doormats or umbrellas would have gone a long way in improving comfort.
The spa is operational but currently offers only male therapists-more inclusive options would enhance the experience.
The restaurant, while convenient, is on the pricier side with limited food options. A bar or lounge area would be a welcome addition."
"Quiet retreat atmosphere. But also not located near anything so a bit isolated.
You get your own casita with your own patio. Beautiful except for shower/tub which is difficult to access if you have mobility issues. Apart from that perfect.
Breakfast is perfectly fine but not amazing as it is in other 5 star hotels. Coorg food is restaurant was great. Dont order the pizza!
Spa is great. Had 2 massages and both great. "
"As it is very small property it is not that great and sad thing is even for indoor games quite a few games has to paid.
In restaurant we were not allowed to have food peacefully, very often they use to come and ask for clearing plates. "
