Search Goldau hotels

The best area to stay in Goldau is around the village centre and near the Goldau train station, as this offers the most convenient access to local attractions and transport links.

The area directly around the Goldau train station is ideal for visitors looking for easy access to the Arth-Goldau Animal Park and the cogwheel railway up Mount Rigi. You'll find a few hotels and guesthouses within a short stroll of the station, making it simple to arrive, check in, and begin exploring without fuss. This central location also means you're close to local shops and eateries.

For couples or families seeking a blend of convenience and natural beauty, staying slightly uphill from the main village centre, towards the lower slopes of Mount Rigi, can be a lovely option. These locations often provide more tranquil surroundings and offer pleasant views of the surrounding mountains and Lake Lauerz, while still being within easy reach of the train station and animal park.
