Top Gloucester Hotel Reviews

Cheltenham Chase Hotel & Spa
8/10 Good
"The bedroom.was really spacious, beautiful high quality pillows and bedding. We've innthe restaurant and they were having building work done ar the time, there was dust over menus etc. Food was ok, staff had very limited knowledge of the wines available. Would overall recommend as its a convenient place to stay"

De Vere Cotswold Water Park

"Great stay and staff were outstanding"

Hotel Indigo Gloucester The Forum By IHG
10/10 Excellent
"This is a fabulous base for exploring the Cotswolds. The staff is very helpful, and the restaurant is very good. There is also a shopping area close by (King’s Walk). The hotel car park is difficult to access. There is construction that prevents Google Maps from providing accurate directions. The front desk staff tries to give directions, but it was hard to digest. Overall the hotel room and amenities and breakfast were quite good."

Holiday Inn Gloucester-Cheltenham by IHG
10/10 Excellent
"Had a great stay with kids and dogs. Breakfast was tasty and the pool was wonderful! Beds were comfy too!"

The Royal George Birdlip by Greene King Inns
8/10 Good
"The ONLY thing I would suggest is, along with quite a few other hotels is, could you please supply a toilet brush. It’s not nice for staff having to clean the loo. I’d rather clean up after myself. Otherwise it was a very nice week away, nice to be waited on by very pleasant, friendly staff."

Gloucester Robinswood Hotel by Sunday

"Room very hot and had to ask for additional fan. Both fans did not turn as were broken so fans only in one spot in the room."

Village Hotel Bristol

"Good stay"

Hatherley Manor Hotel & Spa
8/10 Good
"Lovely spa hotel, only problem is no aircon and rooms very hot in the heatwave , need air conditioning"

De Vere Tortworth Court
10/10 Excellent
"WOW what a fabulous hotel! We had a lovely welcome at reception, our room was bigger than expected for a 'cosy' room. It was lovely and clean and although there was no aircon a substantial fan had been provided. The bed was very comfy. Bathroom was spacious, fluffy towels and toiletries which smelled gorgeous. We had supper and drinks on the terrace but I sent mine back as the chicken was very dry, there was no problem and when a fresh meal was served it was delicious. Breakfast was the usual buffet of cereals, pastries or cooked options. It wasn't the best, bacon was hard, eggs didn't have a runny yolk, mushrooms weren't fresh. For an extra charge there were a few other options but no poached eggs or omelette. The staff were very helpful and happy to do so. All in all a lovely stay wish I could have stayed longer so we could enjoy the beautiful garden walks."
