Beautiful Barge with No Regrets

We brought our barge back to a canal setting in June 2021, an exciting journey along the Severn and under the two bridges! She now sits in a peaceful location on the Gloucester and Sharpness canal, the perfect spot to relax and watch the sunset. Inside, there is a log burner for cooler evenings but it is just as relaxing to sit outside on the deck sipping a cool glass of wine and watching the world go by. There is a double bed, gas hob, fridge, a shower and a cassette toilet. Please note that there is a 6 - 10 minute walk to the boat from the parking along the grass towpath. It is a static boat.

Welcome Break
A spacious ,well appointed, comfortable boat. It is situated in a really good location , right next to the Slimbridge Wetlands, and easy distance to the Costwolds . As a new letting there were a few teething problems which the friendly owners quickly rectified and made us very welcome. Due to our age we found the distance from the road a bit difficult , but it shouldn’t bother younger folk. With a good pub and cafe at start of tow path, eating out was no problem. We did enjoyed our stay thank you.
