"This was the perfect home for a small family get together with 5 adults and 2 kids. The kitchen is impeccably stocked and has every possible dish, utensil, cup, cooking pot, etc., that we needed. The views were also insane, we saw several whale spouts on our first night there. Beds are comfortable and there are lots of pillows. The hot tub is clean and hot!! My family and I would absolutely return to this property. "

"Our stay at Fox Kit Cottage in March was exceptional! The house was clean, well equipped and perfect for a girls’ weekend getaway. Loved sitting on the deck overlooking the surf looking for migrating whales. The hot tub was a great way to relax after spending the day in Wine Country or hiking at Armstrong Woods. Our host, Beth, was very friendly, helpful and easy to communicate with. Loved the beach access from Duncan’s Landing and the landscaping around the house was amazing! I would definitely recommend Fox Kit Cottage without any reservations and only wish I lived closer so I could come back again soon!!"

"We wanted a retreat to get away from the every day and do some writing. We ended up with a second honeymoon! STBH is a peaceful, beautiful home right across from the beach. While everyone else was driving up the 1 to find a spot to watch the sunsets, we cozied up on the large deck or inside the living room with picture windows and watched the most spectacular sunsets. When not writing, we found that we were so close to Redwoods forests, vineyards and of course the gorgeous coast. We were able to reconnect with each other and with nature. Will be back!"

The house sits right above the ocean, where the powerful waves crash against the rocks and create the most soothing, unforgettable sound. The fresh salty air, the ever-changing ocean views, and the mesmerizing sunsets can be enjoyed from inside the house or out on the deck…just magical. Fun to go down to the tide pools…practically your own private beach. Never disappoints, always gets better with Pierre’s extra touches! The stars at night are not to be missed. With little light from other sources the stars seem to be right on top of the house. Almost 200 degrees of view you can easily see the shooting star once in a while. "

"Best amenity was the view from both inside and outside. So nice with clear walls to see the ocean and be protected from the wind. Cozy blankets in the living room were appreciated too!Enjoyed the stairs to the beach below and seeing so many starfish when the tide was out!!"
