"This was the perfect home for a small family get together with 5 adults and 2 kids. The kitchen is impeccably stocked and has every possible dish, utensil, cup, cooking pot, etc., that we needed. The views were also insane, we saw several whale spouts on our first night there. Beds are comfortable and there are lots of pillows. The hot tub is clean and hot!! My family and I would absolutely return to this property. "

"Cute little beach cottage with a fenced in backyard perfect for dogs. although the house is pet-friendly, the beach which is just around the corner is not. (There are other dog-friendly beaches, we headed to Doran which has an off-leash area.). The cottage is not walkable to other things like restaurants but it is a good location to head to Jenner for the day or Pt Reyes, and just a short drive into Bodega Bay. Very clean. Internet could be spotty, I wan't there to work so I got by moving to a different room. I lucked out & had great weather, wish I'd planned a day to sit out on the patio and do nothing. Talked to dog-walking neighbors, generally a friendly area. "

"We wanted a retreat to get away from the every day and do some writing. We ended up with a second honeymoon! STBH is a peaceful, beautiful home right across from the beach. While everyone else was driving up the 1 to find a spot to watch the sunsets, we cozied up on the large deck or inside the living room with picture windows and watched the most spectacular sunsets. When not writing, we found that we were so close to Redwoods forests, vineyards and of course the gorgeous coast. We were able to reconnect with each other and with nature. Will be back!"

"The home looked clean but some of the dishes in cupboards were not clean. A few glasses had visible lip prints. "

"This was our fourth (maybe fifth!) stay at Surfscape, and we will definitely be back again, hopefully soon . The house sits right above the ocean, where the powerful waves crash against the rocks and create the most soothing, unforgettable sound. The fresh salty air, the ever-changing ocean views, and the mesmerizing sunsets can be enjoyed from inside the house or out on the deck…just magical. Fun to go down to the tide pools…practically your own private beach. Never disappoints, always gets better with Pierre’s extra touches! The stars at night are not to be missed. With little light from other sources the stars seem to be right on top of the house. Almost 200 degrees of view you can easily see the shooting star once in a while. "
