Good level of accommodation - well equipt kitchen....plenty of plates, mugs and utensils.
The owner communicated well.
Although in a quiet country lane, the parking was easy to find, even at night.
Rural is good , yet close to Glastonbury and Wells . Very nice accommodation . One bathroom between six adults is not a problem really . We would stay here again . Suited our needs ideally .

The cottage would have seemed more homely with the addition of some dried flowers or any kind of 'dressing'. Appeared clean but oven had a burnt chip on the shelf. Looks a little tired in places but overall well equipped and comfortable.
Great location for touring Somerset- within easy reach of Wells, Glastonbury, Shelton Mallet. Fantastic outside space, garden immaculate and great for dogs- lovely patio area too. My only negative would be that there is only one bathroom and toilet- for six people we would have loved another bathroom, or even the toilet to be separate. Paddle stairs to upper bedroom fine if you are sure footed but not suitable for older or infirm people. Overall a great place to stay!
Very peaceful location.
Good quality accommodation and very helpful owner. Can't fault anything

loved the cottage, was very rural which was lovely, but only a 5-10 minute car journey from a sizeable town with all amenities, the cottage was clean, well equipped, very comfortable. Would highly recommend it for a stay either as a couples retreat or for a family.

Excellent location for getting to Glastonbury, Wells and Shepton Mallet and virtually next door to the Festival site. Parking at the Cottage was generous and on gravel/chippings rather than grass and mud.
There was a selection of towels and water bowls for a dog if you forget to bring them with you. The outdoor area (grass and paved) is secure unless you have a very small dog who likes to wriggle through the wire sections at the bottom of the gate. The outdoor space is shared with the other holiday cottage (semi-detached) which isn't a problem unless your dog is inclined to wander as it might be possible that someone else might leave a gate open by mistake, unfortunately for us we have terrier who is very happy to wander off especially with sheep around!
The cottage was comfortable and good sized with two large sofa's to lounge on. The kitchen area was stocked with a good selection of crockery and pans and cutlery. Plenty of hot water for washing up and bathing. Nice clean bathroom. As commented in other reviews I found the double bed mattress uncomfortable and didn't sleep well the whole week but in all fairness I find most beds uncomfortable except my own super sprung and padded bed so I only mention this in case someone else suffers the same kind of thing.
It was very quiet and peaceful and possible to enjoy a nice walk from the cottage of a balmy evening.

Loved it here! Everything you could need, the accommodation was well thought out - including the glazing, stairgates and blackout curtains in the gallery bedrooms making it perfect for kids.
Lovely locsl walks and pub, a few minutes drive to a shop. Loads to do within 30mins.
Beautiful garden, all the kids loved it, we had beautiful weather and skipped a beach trip to stay at home with a paddling pool!
