"Had a wonderful couple of nights at 8 Owls in Glastonbury. Lilija was super responsive and helpful, the room was clean and spacious, and the location next to the High Street and all the shops was great for us. Loved all of the Owls and other details around the property and the terrace at the top was a great bonus. Would definitely stay again."

"We didn’t realize the stay involved vegan and healing spiritual activities. We’re just calm and folks we’re not involved in any of that spirituality stuff associated with paganism."

"Really nice staff, bar/lounge area and rooms. Ideal for a night or 2 if you are visiting the local area for sight seeing etc. Shepton mallet high street is about 10-15 minute walk away although it is uphill. Taxis where hard to get although could have just been the time of day on the weekend."

"The room was very nice, there was adequate parking. The breakfast was very good. The staff on reception were very polite and helpful. The room was cleaned every day.
The restaurant manager was very unhelpful and rude when we had an issue with our bill, she wouldn't acknowledge us and kept sending us back and forth via waitresses to try and resolve this. The next morning the manager on reception sorted it no problem and was very helpful. One of the waitresses took our drinks order and came back twice to ask us what we had ordered as she had forgot, then didn't get our food order right and had to be corrected."
"We were greeted by friendly staff on arrival with lots of fuss made over our dog. We booked a family room ( not sure we were allocated the room we booked) and were allocated room 1. The room was very small and didn’t have any kind of view. We had to switch the air conditioning off because it was very noisy. Room looked a bit tired. Lovely basket with dog treats, dog bowl and poo bags left for us. Sparce choice for adults and nothing for our daughter. We ate in the restaurant, staff were very friendly but service was slow. We enjoyed our food when it arrived. Breakfast was ok but you didn’t get a lot of choice.
The hotel room was fairly cheap when we booked, the hotels in s nice spot with plenty of parking. Was it good value? Yes. Would we recommend? Yes. Would we stay again? Yes for the same rate that we paid ."
"Just needed somewhere for one night. Cheaper than everywhere else. Friendly welcome from staff. Room was newly decorated and clean. We parked in the carpark nearby which was £7 for the night. Lovely stay."
"I went to Limpley Stoke Hotel for my son's wedding. They arranged for it at the hotel about 14 weeks ago. The venue was excellent and the wedding, breakfast and evening party went flawlessly. The food was tasty, hot and plentiful. The bar and outside terrace was great, plenty of room to move around, everyone really enjoyed themselves. The bar itself had plenty to offer drnkwise and the bar staff were cheerful and professional. The rooms were spacious ,spotless and well stocked with tea/coffee etc. There were around 60 of us at the wedding and I thought it was an idea setting, just the right size although I'm sure larger parties would find it just as idea. Overall, it was a brilliant Hotel and venue. I would recommend Limpley Stoke Hotel to anyone as an idea spot and very reasonable priced ,the weather was great as well. Well done and thanks to everyone at the hotel. Tony Hughes."
"Great stop off after our holiday in Cornwall. Good disabled facilities and easy access to hotel. Excellent evening meal but note that if you are arriving late they close the kitchen promptly at 9.30pm. We would have ordered a sweet but were told that kitchen had closed. Would have been good if they had asked us if we wanted a sweet so we could put an order in before the kitchen closed. Would definitely stay here again and perhaps for more than one night to explore the area around Bridgewater."
