"The front desk staff was friendly and expeditious in checking us in and out. The room was clean and comfortable. The small couch in the room was worn out and we sunk deep into it, making it hard to get out. The desk chair would not elevate. The breakfast was fairly standard and tasty, but the coffee machine coffee was not particularly good."

"The area where the hotel was located was very central to walkable restaurants. Had a small town feel to it. We had a room that faced a common area courtyard on Main Street that was well lit, but there was some crazy guy screaming for quite a few hours late at night; at anybody and anyone who were sitting on the benches. The parking lot really needed repaved . There were a lot of potholes. The continental breakfast wasn’t bad. They had Jimmy Dean breakfast sandwiches you could heat up in the microwave as well as make your own waffles or oatmeal or cereal or toast or bagels and muffins. They had some fresh fruit and the coffee was pretty decent. The beds were pretty comfortable. The wallpaper in the hallways needed to be peeled off and redone and the carpets in the hallways could really use a good vacuuming. We just stayed one night so it served the purpose and it was reasonable. If I had to, I would stay there again."

"If you need a middle class inexpensive place to stay local to stores, food, etc., then I highly recommend this location. As with many older hotels it does have a musty, smoke, pet smell throughout but it isn't awful, just noticable. The room was a non smoking room and it had no smell whatsoever. Rooms were outdated but clean, the was fine, enough lightning, decent enough shower, clean towels and bedding. AC worked well. It had a fridge and a microwave. Front desk was great. Location was safe and fairly lit. I wish the beds, linens, and pillows were more comfortable. I'm not a fan of half sized pillows. Walls and ceilings were paper thin. Other than that the stay was great!"

"The house was immaculate and well suited for our family gathering! A fun game room, plenty of bathrooms and a beautiful quiet outdoor space. The owner was always very quick to respond. Check-in was easy. The home is quite remote, so bring what you need. A pretty 30 min drive to Cooperstown."
