This hotel is in desperate need of updating. Rooms all say they are non-smoking, yet ours had a strong order of smoke. Would not stay here again unless it has been thoroughly cleaned and updated.

The staff were friendly for the most part. The room smelled stale and musty. It was suppose to be smoke free but we found burn marks on the top spread. Bugs in the refridgerater. Window couldn't be closed all the way. Sink in bathroom was old and stained. Continental breakfast was a joke. The bed slept ok.

Canceled reservation 2 months prior to going, still got charged for the room????? I called multiple times talked to manager Travis which obviously had no idea what he was doing and hung up on me! Trying to get in touch with the GM Dana but jyst like Travis has NO customer skills!!!

Front desk was nice. Lots of characters staying there thru DSS or else it would be better. They throw huge bags of trash in the hallway and the halls smell like dirty feet or a hookless shelter. The room was big and clean. I was shocked at this. Very cold though and I had to sleep with my jacket on as the heat doesn’t work very well and needs to be upgraded. Also breakfast is dismal: few applesauce, apple juice and some terrible coffee and small bottle of water splayed out by the front desk. I wouldn’t advertise it as breakfast. I’m sure the people who stay would take it so they put very little out. Def a live in hotel or else it would be nicer.

We came here for an annual event last year. I remember the place was "cheap and cheerful", but not bad for the price. I don't know what happened this year?? The place was disgusting. First, there were bugs all over our room. Hoping not bed bugs. The lounge chair was filthy, and there was no way I was sitting on it. Towel hooks were falling off the wall--it really looked like nobody gave a damn! And, as someone else said, it looked like some gross motel out of a horror movie! When my husband took a shower, he jumped out after 10 seconds. The water had suddenly gone from hot to cold--they had run out of hot water! We mentioned this when we were checking out, maybe something they should know. The woman at the desk didn't care at all and said, "Oh yea, that happens when we are fully booked"! Didn't give a hoot about it! The only positive I can say, is that I had some complications with my booking, which was my fault, and I had Travis from the front desk helping me out on the phone a couple times. He was extremely helpful!!

The staff was great and the property is very clean, but be warned it's old and clearly was a formerly smoking hotel. The linens are quite threadbare and the rooms (including the AC/heating unit) have an unmistakable smoke smell. There's very little in the area (we were there because we just needed a place to grab a few hours of sleep on a road trip) and the motel certainly tries. But if you're at all sensitive to smoke this is not the place for you.
