"Ok first up this is not a hotel with a human at the front desk, this is more of an air b/b but you don't really know who you are dealing with on the hotel side, you never get the feeling that you where in contact with anyone, yes e-mails where exchanged but it felt remote and cold. The room was very clean, when we booked the room we had asked for a room not on the street side but on the courtyard side, that request went nowhere and we got a room on the street side, now would not be a problem if the room had A/C it does not, we where given a fan and ear plugs. not really effective. our first night we had a pillow per person, yes just one and it was very thin, we did email the hotel and another thicker one was on the bed the next day. as far as shampoo and soaps we where just given a bottle of body wash, so bring your own. as far as the location, for us it was wonderful and safe, public transport almost at the front door and lots of places to dine within a 15 minute walk."

"We were so disappointed with our stay here. Both mornings we stayed our electricity short circuited, leaving us in darkness and no power, making it impossible to work and get ready for the day. The first morning it happened the man on reception showed no kindness or empathy and told us we had to wait until later for someone to arrive to fix it. In the meantime, the solution he gave us was a token for the coffee machine. Once it was fixed, we moved on with our day and put it behind us. The following morning, the exact same thing happened. The same man on reception was working and his attitude was the same. This time he suggested we use the common area to plug in hair straighteners/chargers etc and get ready with the light there. No suggestions made to move rooms, no remedy for inconvenience was offered. No genuine apology. Instead we were made to feel like the inconvenience and treated as if we were the problem. Later in the day, we spoke with other staff on reception and asked for a late check out. We were told the cost of it. We had to ask to have it made complimentary. Nothing was actually offered to us to remedy the situation. Once was inconvenient, twice was incompetent. But the core issue for us was that no effort was made to show service and hospitality. It is not unreasonable to expect that a hotel of this standard comes with electricity. And when that fails, the level of service should rise to remedy the situation. 0/10"

"The air conditioner didn't work, so the receptionist immediately offered compensation. When we noticed it was too hot, she moved us to a much better, cooler room after one day, while still compensating us. We truly appreciate that. Additionally, the hotel is well-designed and well-located."
