A great mini-weekend getaway for 2. The staff was friendly and accommodating. We loved the access to all the recreational equipment, played some tennis, and went kayaking and canoeing. We also enjoyed the beach and bonfire every night.

Our room was an adjoining room and the person beside us had their tv on loud. Called front desk to help and no one helped. Wall was paper thin could hear everything… On site restaurant was terrible!! The bar tender couldn’t make mixed drinks and was extremely expensive. Just wanted a quick getaway which was a fail. I would not recommend. Front desk staff were terrific at check in.

It is a stretch to call this a four star resort. Our room was really run down and the ‘beach’ was just a place to sit and relax—the water was too weedy to swim. The indoor pool was so chlorinated that the air was hard to breathe from the chemicals. The restaurant was really expensive for the quality of food—I would call it home cooking with fine dining prices. And it took over an hour for our food to arrive. Our room was not serviced once during our stay and we had to ask the front desk each night to get our coffee restocked and clean cups to drink from. For $300 per night, I was not impressed.

We had a nice time at the inn. Small room. Would have liked to be facing the water. Great dinner overlooking the lake! Enjoyed the seating along the water, with small beach, lawn games, campfire and raised lounge areas. Would have loved to use the paddle boat, paddle boards and kayaks if the weather was nice. Close to Coldwater-cute little town with restaurants, bowling alley and ice cream shop. Easy access to the highway.

Room was very very small especially for price of stay!! Had only one night stand and therefore only one light by the bed. Very short staffed especially in dining room but the staff was very friendly.

Great location if you are boating in the area. Lots of dock space available. The rooms are a bit dated, however, very clean and comfortable. We had an amazing dinner and breakfast in the dining room on the property and really enjoyed it. The staff are incredible, very friendly and excellent service.

The rooms were a bit rough looking but they were clean, and offered a fridge that worked really well and a Keurig coffee machine. The grounds were great, nice little beach, outdoor sauna, and restaurant. The area is great many food options, all in walkable distance.

Our family requested an early check in. I am a single mother, my daughter has a disability and I told the hotel I booked that morning as my mother broke both femurs and we have been at the hospital for two weeks. Upon arriving at noon, the staff said check in was 4pm and if we could get in earlier they would let us know. We were in room 102. We spoke to other guests who were able to check in early and they told us that these rooms were cleaned. Sharon, the owner had staff hold off checking us in until 4pm. I was happy outside, as was my other daughter, she saw that my daughter with the disability was sitting in the lobby and chose to make her wait. At 4pm when Sharon chose to give us the room she told us that check out is 11am (normal - we would leave the room). She explained NOT THE ROOM - THE PROPERTY!! Sharon told us, that 11am means VACATING the entire property. I explained to her that we were sitting outside with people that checked out and they were today they could enjoy the property. 😞 She said if she saw them she would tell them to leave, she never came out to ask them and this lovely couple stayed until 8pm! To note this couple is Caucasian. I don’t know if I am being racially profiled. Please take note when BOOKING - YOU MUST LEAVE THE PREMISES ON CHECK OUT DAY AT 11AM. Not only your room the hotel THE PROPERTY. My suggestion is go to Deethurst, Fern, Taboo, Tapatoo - anywhere else.
