"Great stay, helpfull staff."

"Recently renovated food room in traditional pub. Staff were outstandingly friendly. Bustling trade with karaoke evening the first night we arrived, great straightforward breakfast."

"The room was clean and extremely spacious but communal areas needed a lick of paint. Friendly, helpful staff both at reception and at breakfast (which was excellent with a range of hot and cold options). My friends and I had a full English breakfast which was cooked to order. And unlike other hotels in March, has excellent parking facilities. Bear in mind it is a 3 star but excellent value for money."

"Could fault it in any way we had a great stay room was great staff where great didn’t try breakfast this time but will next time"

"Bedroom was clean and comfortable, friendly staff, great breakfast and dinner"

"Great location great staff, guest views of river"

"Great for a one night stay, easy check in. Bed very comfortable. Cosy. Very cute dogs welcomed us! Clean and everything you need for a short stay. Recommended."

"Lovely place."

"For me, everything was very good. However, you should know that the hotel is in an old building and this could bother someone else considering the slightly noisy floor"

"Great views and great restaurant, lots of parking and scenic river views from room and restaurant"

"Room was clean, adequate parking, friendly staff and comfy bed. A very pleasant stay"

"Was or similar to an old coaching Inn, and layout and ambience reflected this"

"Rooms could do with updating and the wifi is terrible but on the whole a lovely hotel with fantastic staff and loads to do. The food in the bar and restaurant was 5*"

"The Staff were friendly and helpful. Bar area and locals were welcoming. The accommodation could do with some TLC. Mattress in room 3 needs replacing."
