The room and ensuite bathroom were good. Everything was clean. There is some traffic noise as the hotel is on a main road. It is in a convenient location for walkable access to the town centre. The breakfast was in room so there was limited choice.

Property clean & staff very pleasant. Ground floor doors to rooms banging shut through the night and echoing along uncarpeted corridor. If you want a good nights sleep, take ear plugs & sleeping aid tablets. Good food in adjoining restaurant.

We will be back

A weekend break just to spend some husband and wife without the children, grandchildren or friends intriguing. The attached restaurant served excellent food with a very relaxing charming atmosphere

From the second i walked in the staff were fantastic although asking an English person for ID is annoying. Decent room, wifi, super shower, has free parking. Bring a small breakfast to your room as well. Will return

I was given a great reception from very friendly and welcoming staff. Had a room on ground level due to my heavy suitcase. The room was large and comfortable, as was the bed. I liked the discreet aircon and that the window could open for fresh air as well. Food at the adjoining restaurant was excellent. Pity no aircon on a very hot evening. A very pleasant stay and i will definitely return!

Polite staff, comfy bed, not accessible.

The Hotel needs some maintenance and perhaps a refresh. But more importantly, their definition of 'accessible' is a bit of a stretch. It technically had an accessible entrance, but there was quite a large curb to overcome to reach the very steep ramp to the back door. In addition, the room I was given didn't have any facilities to make it more accessible. The bed was comfortable however, and the staff were very polite.

I was told I am not getting breakfast because I didn't tell them what I want for breakfast the night before and I wasn't told that I need to let them know the night before. Is the worst place to stay. I paid for breakfast but was denied my breakfast.

Dreadful. Nothing like the pictures

Room NOT as described on site. NOT spacious, NOT comfortable (thin mattress, horrible pillows and summer quilt in middle of winter) NO Desk and chair, NO restaurant for breakfast (ate it sitting on edge of bed on tray). Reception staff toyally disinterested in responding to my complaints (effectively 'you booked the cheapest room - that's what you got, stop complaining').

The room we were allocated was on the top floor it was a attic room with no head space ,, we had to move the bed into the middle of the room otherwise I would have banged my head if I sat up ..the door into the room was only about 4 ft so had to crouch to get in the same as the bathroom ..It was impossible to sit at the dressing table to dry my hair as kept hitting the ceiling with the dryer .. Also worried about fire safety if there had been a fire on the staircase there was no window in our room to escape only a very small velox which we would been unable to reach .. The tv didnt work .. No compensation or apologies when mentioned the issues about the room ...this should not be used as a hotel room not adequate .

Never seen such arrogant staff in any of the hotels I booked recently. Booked the highest paid room, assuming to get better service and comfort… What a hell of traffic sounds all nights long…for two nights…that despite requested a day before arrival for a quiet room, nothing was done and no cooperation at arrival. Take it or leave it attitude. Guest was left on its own to figure and sleep in a noisy room…just ridiculous!!!

Great little hotel

Receptionist was lovely and friendly, I arrived earlier than check in but it wasn't a problem and I received a free upgrade to my room. Received a discount voucher for the restaurant next door, and if was lovely! Breakfast was delivered to my room in the morning. Great little hotel and I'll definitely book again if I'm in the area
