Great place to stay

This hotel is perfectly situated in Geneva. Just down the road from the train station & within walking distance of the lake. The rooms are big & well provided for. I recommend this hotel.

The breakfast was originally included in the bookings I made. But at the property they said there is no breakfast included after we ate the breakfast, they were rude. When we checked in they said breakfast included for all 3 bookings

Love the beds and shower

Loved the room just as pictured we stayed on a triple room. It was extremely clean, shower was great, beds extremely comfortable

We paid for a triple room with a rooftop terrace. We were told that room was being renovated so we got two adjoining rooms without terrace. The refrigerator in one of the rooms was hotter than the room. The gym was also unavailable due to renovations in progress. Do not stay here unless you know the renovation has been completed. We would not have stayed here if we had known half of the hotel was unavailable.

Small but comfortable hotel.

We came to see the grand continental city. We had 3 adult family members and so chose the hotel for the loft arrangement and it’s proximity to the train station and the lake. The staff was very helpful, the breakfast was great, and the room was small but comfortable. We were very happy with it.

Beware, must have hotel travel pass!!

Hotel stay was great, very close to station and central. Unfortunately we were advised at reception that travel to airport was free on train and even though we showed our online booking to the train conductor, we were charged 96 Swiss francs as we did not have hotel pass. Please make other travellers aware!!

Super location, two minutes from the station, continue another three to the lake. Wonderful staff, clean, airy, modern. Very large room for what I paid. Only downside being that I had a (locked, obviously) connecting door to the next room that wasn't particularly soundproofed. Otherwise all very good.

Very nice all around, my second time staying here and would stay again. Air conditioning kept breaking but maybe because of extreme heat. It soils be a nice touch to put an adaptor in the room for international plugs….

A very average hotel that needs room improvements.

I was allocated a room where the toilet seat was dislodged and the blind was broken. I was told the hotel was full but eventually manged to find me another room. Cleanliness is average and aircon units in the room are not effective. The tea, coffee and water in the lobby are a nice touch.

Arranged and confirmed with the Front desk the night before a late checkout 1pm instead of 12noon. 12:15p the front desk call to say checkout was at 12:00 noon. I told him that we had arranged a late checkout, was told it was impossible. We were already packing so we rushed to get out. When we got down to check out the clerk said if we wanted to, we could go back up to the room until 1pm.

The room was very hot and A/C was not working well. When we opened our window for some air, literally hundreds of flies came into the room. This was our only real issue. The hotel was beautiful and the area was very cool to explore.

Ok but not great. Pictures are a bit deceiving!

Room is very basic, more like a motel. AC in the room was not working and told the receptionist a few times and they seen very surprised, and claimed that it should work. And said they will look at it when we explored the city. And of course they didn’t fix it. Room is very hot and can’t open the window to sleep as too much noises plus very closed to the train station. The bathroom has lots of mold on the ceiling. The only pro thing is you can have unlimited coffees and teas at the restaurant and sit.

Unfortunately, my experience here was far from satisfactory due to serious safety concerns that made it impossible for me to stay. Upon arriving at the hotel just after midnight, we were yelled at by individuals loitering outside the premises. This was the first indication that the area surrounding the hotel was very unsafe. Upon checking into our room, we discovered that the safety lock was broken. Concerned for our security, I went downstairs to inform the staff and request a room change. To my surprise, the receptionist informed me that all the rooms in the hotel had their locks removed, a baffling and unacceptable practice that raised serious red flags regarding the safety and security of guests. Despite my insistence on the necessity of a secure accommodation, the staff seemed indifferent to our concerns, offering no viable solutions or assurances of safety. This utter lack of regard for guest safety is very concerning. Faced with such disregard for basic safety measures, we made the difficult decision to leave the hotel immediately, despite having already paid in full for our stay. The experience left us feeling vulnerable and exposed, and we were forced to seek alternative accommodations at great inconvenience and expense. I urge management to address these issues promptly and implement measures to ensure the safety and well-being of all guests.

Super convenient small hotel (5 rooms/floor). Right by train station and short walk to downtown/old city. It’s a bit loud as it’s in the city, but with windows shut it was plenty quiet. Staff super friendly and helpful. Nice buffet breakfast. Will be my go-to hotel in Geneva.
