Our main reason for booking this hotel was the proximity to Hamburg and it was within walking distance to the train station. It's location on the river was picturesque and it was close to all amenities and restaurants. Parking whilst provided was difficult, as parking garage and parking spots were extremely tight, even for a small car. What a gem of a hotel, a great brand, DORMERO Hotel Altes Kaufhaus Lüneburg. The hotel was location near the old part of town is ideal. It's simply a walk out of the hotel front door and you are there in the old part of town. The room was very clean and well appointed with a ray of complimentary things - such as some drinks (water, beer, and a coke). After this experience will be looking for this brand of hotel again. Very nice hotel spotlessly clean staff friendly ,the only point we where disappointed in was the restaurant evening meal was pretty bland

The hotel has a very relaxing atmosphere. The Wellness centre is excellent for a swim and sauna. The apartment was spacious and it has the most comfortable bed. We loved our stay and will most certainly be back
