Discover Adventure in the Smokies with this Family Friendly Oasis in the Woods

Welcome to Discover Adventure Cabin!

Nestled between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, this cabin offers access to all of the local attractions in a matter of minutes. Discover Adventure is only 1.6 miles from the parkway, and a two lane paved road offers peace of mind as you traverse the winding path to this cabin in the woods. Flat parking and space for two vehicles is a feature this cabin offers. Our Ram 1500 fits fine, but please leave larger vehicles at home.

Enter on the main level into the dining room and kitchen area. Granite countertops accent the kitchen and provide plenty of workspace for cooking meals. The kitchen is stocked fully with cookware, and additional amenities such as a blender, Keurig machine, crockpot, and regular coffee maker are also available. Two barstools on the peninsula allow children or others to watch as you prepare your home cooked meals. Enjoy your home away from home cooked meals in the dining room that seats six just off of the kitchen.

Also on the main floor, you will find a bedroom with a 32" in tv, dresser, full closet, and a view of the jacuzzi on the deck. The bathroom for this bedroom is located just outside the bedroom door and features a tub and shower combo and single vanity.

The living room is also located on the main floor and boasts an impressive cathedral ceiling and tons of natural light. There is plenty of seating with two chairs and a large leather sofa. We offer HBO, Cinemax, Showtime, NFL Network, and plenty of kids' stations. Just beyond the living room, you have access to the back deck. Enjoy a dip in the jacuzzi or rock back and forth on the porch swing as you relax in the peacefulness the location offers.

Heading up the stairs, you will find an oversized master with bedside jacuzzi and en suite bathroom. The en suite has a full tub and shower combo and single vanity with extra counter space. A dresser and 32" tv leave more than enough space to enjoy.

Just outside the upstairs bedroom is the kid's loft which boasts twin bunk beds, child's play area, and arcade game. Laundry facilities are also located in the loft. While you enjoy the comforts of downstairs, your kids will have their own area to play and relax.

Great Location and Clean Cabin!

We loved this cabin, it was the perfect size for our family of 5, plenty of room to spread out! Our kids loved the hot tub and video games. The location was so convenient for both Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, while still in a quiet and secluded spot.

Mountain cabin

We enjoyed our stay in the cabin in the mountains. It was stocked with everything we needed. It was convenient to Hiking and all kinds of activities in Gatlinburg and Dollywood. It was a very nice getaway.

Mountain Getaway

We loved the cabin! It is so cute and most importantly very clean. After extremely busy days being tourists it was so nice to come back to the cabin and relax in the hot tub. Highly recommend this cute little mountain cabin.

Wonderful Cabin and BEARS!

We had a great time in this cabin. It was spacious, clean, and in a great location for PF and Gat. We were there 4 mornings and had bears visit ever morning and once in the afternoon. We will be back!

Clean and Great Location

The cabin was exactly as described and very clean. Quick commute to the park and Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge. We were fortunate enough to see three mature black bears below us from the cabin balcony!

Spring Break Getaway

We absolutely loved our stay! The house was perfect for our family as we enjoyed the hot tub, the fireplace, and the PS4. It had plenty of space for us to spread out when we wanted time to ourselves. We had an issue with the power going out (no fault of host) and we were able to easily communicate with the host about the issue.

Perfect family cabin

My family loved this cozy cabin. It was well stocked with everything you could think of. Even has a PlayStation in the loft area kids room that was great for my teenager! The views are nice and the cabin looks exactly as pictured! We loved the bunk bed loft room for our kiddos. Perfect cabin for my family of 5! We will be back!

Perfect family cabin!

We had a great time and the cabin was perfect! Plenty of space for our family of five. The kids loved the mini arcade and the hot tub. Kitchen had everything we needed and then some. Host was very quick to respond when we had a question. Definitely hard to find after dark but the directions were very helpful. Great location to hit all of the attractions.

Gorgeous cabin!

Beautifully decorated when we arrived with Christmas decor. Extremely clean! Ample kitchen items for cooking. My kids loved the arcade upstairs. Recommend arriving during day light so it’s easier to find but wasn’t terribly difficult in the dark. Love the hot tub! My family would definitely choose to stay at this cabin again.

Very nice cabin

Cabin was clean and very cozy. Everything was great and there is wild life right in the back yard where you can view from a pretty high deck. Great for sipping wine and relaxing. Parking is not ideal if you have a bigger vehicle, but that is listed on the description. One night we got back and there was a truck pretty much blocking the whole driveway, but I got around it in my Gladiator. Also the view from the deck is not that great, but your in the woods. Nice relaxing time for my wife and I.

Last Minute Getaway

We stayed here for a quick last minute getaway. The cabin was very clean, the location was quick to Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge, the bed was very comfortable. The only issue we had is getting out of the driveway. We have a Suburban and we had to really back in and out to make the turn to get out. We only used one bed, but the cabin would be great for a family! We will stay here again and bring out kids back with us.

Quiet, close, clean

Property is quiet, but not quite secluded. Easily accessible from the park and both towns. The area appears to be building up with cabins, but the road is well maintained as of Spring 2024. During our stay neighbors in every direction were respectful. Can’t stress enough how clean the cabin felt, including the bathtub, which is usually a no go for me. Listing is exactly as stated and cabin is well appointed. This is one of those listings that feels like the owners place, and not a rental investment. I wouldn’t hesitate to book again.

Excellent location

This was the perfect location for our Smokey Mountain vacation. It was far enough from the hustle and bustle of Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge to feel remote with easy access to the park for our outdoor adventures. And its close enough to the tourist attractions too if thats your cup of tea. There were some delays with communications that caused me some concern initial, but in the end everything turned out great. The house itself was well stocked, maintained, and comefortable. Our boys (and who are we kidding, my husband too) loved the arcade game. We cooked in several meals and had everything we needed. It was a great place to come back to for some relaxation after hiking and sightsee all day.
