We would definitely stay here again. It was a great value for the price. The beds were very comfortable. The area felt safe and was quiet (except for the train!). but I didn't hear it after the first night. We were exhausted . Many great choices for dining. Coffee shops nearby! The pool was closed, possibly being renovated?
The housekeepers were friendly and very welcoming. If I had any problems the hotel took care of it right away. The only problem I had is my Internet kept going out but I enjoyed the stay. I would recommend and stay there again.
The parking was easy. The room key didn’t work and had to walk back to lobby for a new one. The employees were nice though. The rooms outdated and what repairs that were done were messy and done poorly. The back of the property had old tubs sitting out with weeds growing in them and trash all over. The bathroom in the lobby wasn’t working at all. The breakfast would never pass health department inspection. The eggs were cold as were the biscuits, the sausage was room temperature. The frig that holds the yogurt was broken (which the employee was aware of) so the milk products were room temperature. The gravy was watered down and more like thin soup. Really everything was inedible. Collierville is generally an upscale nice area but this hotel looked completely out of place. I would not recommend it to anyone honestly.
The room was a dump. Carpet torn, ceiling tape peeling off, bathroom door dirty, stairwells filthy and anchors missing, breakfast bar was a joke. Maid service walked into our room to collect towels while we were still getting dressed. On top of that the room smelled like a perfume store. Our companions left and went to another hotel. We felt stuck because we’ve tried to get a refund thru Expedia once before and they refused to help us. We will never, ever use Expedia again. Evidently they don’t check the properties they advertise.
