"We spent a lovely 3 day weekend here for my husbands birthday. The place is exactly as shown in the pictures and there is so many different things to do on the property especially for kids. My kids skateboarded around the driveway and played basketball half of the trip. We loved being able to go down onto the dock first thing in the morning and watch the mist on the water. It is very quiet here as it is one of the last homes on the road. The hot tub was very clean and huge! We watched a handful of movies while we were here as they have a wide selection including recently released movies. The beds are extremely comfortable. The entire place is inviting, very similar to the owners. They were there when we first arrived and showed us around the property. Some of the loveliest people we have come across in a long time. This place is incredibly charming and it is made clear very quickly that they have spared no expense to make their guests feel at home. We enjoyed oursleves immensely and plan on making this an annual trip for our family. Thank you Pearle and Dave for everything! "

"The house was immaculate and the host was amazing! We enjoyed our stay using the many amenities offered such as the heated swimming pool and spacious movie theatre. The rooms were comfortable and clean and the kitchen was properly stocked with essentials. The host was responsive to any questions and made this trip great!! "Our stay at this Deep Creek property was highly disappointing due to neglect and hygiene issues.Cleanliness & Health:The home was incredibly dusty; ceiling fans and vents were caked in grime. The bathrooms smelled strongly of urine upon arrival, and we found visible mold in the shower tracks. Worst of all, the bunk room sheets were dirty at check-in.Maintenance & Safety:• Electrical: The power is unstable. Using basic items like an iron on the far left side of the downstairs area caused the power to go out repeatedly.• Structural: The home is in disrepair; kitchen counters are physically separating from the backsplas/wall.• Heating: The bunk room had no temperature control, swinging between freezing and sweltering. Despite being a mountain rental, the fireplaces did not work.Amenities:The hot tub was unusable. Snow was never removed to allow access, and the propane tanks were not checked to ensure it was functional.Summary:This home is "old" in a way that suggests neglect. Between the mold, the urine smell, the lack of working fireplaces, and the electrical issues, it did not meet basic hospitality standards. It needs a professional deep clean and a total maintenance overhaul. I would not recommend staying here until significant updates are made."
