"We enjoyed our stay. Our room was clean, spacious and bed was comfy. Nice hot drinks in the lobby. Staff was very welcoming and helpful! It’s close to Rose Garden with a good restaurant there and an amazing view of old town, very convenient bus stops near the hotel to get anywhere. Plus Coop supermarket is next to the hotel. Good location! Nice rooftop terrace."

"The perfect hotel on a budget! This place has hostel vibes in the best possible way. The rooms are small but incredibly clean, modern, and pretty. The bedding was fluffy and so comfortable, and the shower was hands down my favorite of our entire Europe trip. While there isn’t a fridge in the room, there’s a great common area with a kitchen and coffee/tea machines where you can prepare food. There are also lots of cozy sitting areas that make it easy to enjoy takeout or grocery store meals. The location is fantastic—just an easy 8–10 minute walk from the train station, right in the beautiful old city of Bern. We were able to walk to all the major old city sights within 3–4 hours. On top of that, the shopping options in this area are endless—the best we experienced anywhere in Switzerland. There are also countless restaurants nearby and an immense selection of grocery stores, making it incredibly convenient for any type of traveler. Our particular room was one of the few that looked directly out onto a cement wall. We mentioned this to the host, who kindly invited us to meet in the common area (likely to try to switch our room), but since we were only there briefly and had already gone out exploring, we didn’t follow up. Even so, we really appreciated that the host was open to feedback. And in the end, that room did have the upside of extra privacy and quiet compared to others. "Our stay was lovely. The apartment was very comfortable and like a home away from home. The surrounding countryside is beautiful and we enjoyed the view of the mountains while having meals on the terrace. The hosts are kind and thoughtful and take great care of their property.Items to note: Roads in the neighborhood are narrow with light traffic in 2 directions. It's about a 25 minute drive to Bern and about a 60 minute drive to Gantrisch Nature Park. "

"We loved the hostess but the host was rude. There was no clear instructions on where to park. The first night we just happened to park in the correct space by accident. The second night we parked on the side of the hotel. Again no parking instructions. The host came to the room extremely angry and rude saying we caused a big problem. We parked in the neighbors parking spot. He didn’t except our apologies and stormed off. The next day we checked out and he was not very pleasant. We paid our dinner bill for two nights at 100chf per night. Outrageous price for a dinner that consisted of four very small stuffed peppers and salad. The second night a small lasagna and salad. Ice cream but no coffee. I felt taken advantage of. It’s a shame because the view and room were lovely but our lasting impression was of his rudeness and taking advantage of us for the cost of meals.
