"A very comfortable and inviting penthouse. We enjoyed the week in Hermanus, and the perfect location of La Paradis provided for easy walking to many great restaurants and wine bars. The only downside is the building construction that is going on right next door, but if you don't mind being woken with construction noise at 7:30 this won't be a problem"

"I can highly recommend this property! It is a short walk to the beach and have the most amazing views. We could even sit on our balcony and watch the whales whilst sipping our morning coffee! The accommodation is great with a fully equipped kitchen and lovely decor keeping with the ocean theme. The owner was also incredibly helpful and very friendly. We will definitely return! "

"Travelling the Garden Route from PE to Cape Town. Travelling as a couple we wanted accommodation that we make full use of all the facilities, and catch up on our washing. We had a sat nav so the place was easy to find. Lots of things to do nearby if the whales are not about, wine tours. Shark Cage diving. The owner even helped us book the Cape Canopy Tours near Cape Town, excellent value and more scary than shark cage diving. The owner Gill, is a lovely lady and helps you out with anything...

"Great, spacious property in a very good central location. Felt very secure and safe. Friendly and helpful receptionist. Well equipped - would be even better with a washing machine. The only negative is that it was quite noisy with traffic outside all 3 nights we were there - which is odd as it isn’t on a main road. "This was by far the best days of my 3 weeks in the Cape. I wish I had booked to stay longer. The view was unbeatable. Across the street from the coastal pathway and walkable to groceries and many good restaurants although I spent many hours in the unit just contemplating. This is a definite stay for me next time."

Large and old/rustic house that came with a fully equipped kitchen and two fire places for those who are afraid of the cold (buy your own fire wood). "The place is located next to a township, there is a lot of mold in the apartment and the beds are worned out and full of stains. The smell in the apartment because of the mold and humidity and as it is not well isolated, is very bad. The check in process was easy though and it was cheap. We were quite disappointed with the place, it was ok to spend one night"

"Ons C Huis is in a great location with wonderful views over the bay. It is in a very secure location, and has everything you need to enjoy your time at leisure. Waking up in the morning and opening the blinds to see the sea views was great, as was watching the sun setting from the deck. You can park your car on the drive or in the garage. Gansbaai has a superspar supermarket or you can shop at Woolworths or Pick 'n Pay in Hermanus before continuing to Gansbaai."

"This was a quick stop to our Great White Diving excursion! The place was perfect, big kitchen, big fridge, big everything. The apartment has a place to good braai and heated beds when it is cold. There is a tube and shower. Hot water is great. The area is safe and nice. Few good restaurants around the area, but we preferred to eat in since it was so nice. Check in was great, there is a gated entrance where you can leave the car. Highly recommended! "
