"The breakfast was amazing! Kiddo is still talking about the egg bites. Our fridge was broken in our first room and they switched us rooms but the fridge in the second one was still barely cooling. The view though was amazing. On both sides of the hotel. Love how close it is and how easy it is to get to the 61st pier."

"It was very nasty. There was a big fight at the pool and I was a witness and got someone and was told by one of the guys that went to jail that he would come back and k*ll a mother f***ker. I then went to the office to ask for a refund cause I didn't feel safe staying the night and they wouldn't refund me. Then went on saying that the bar next door owns the pool and not them. I went back to the pool and talked to the GREAT manager there and he told me that in fact the hotel does own the pool. He took my name and my number and is fighting with me to get a refund. If you decide to stay here just know that the bar next door let's their customers pay to be able to use the pool and there could end up being a fight. O and there was a bunch of young families there with young kids while this fight broke out and having to pull kids out of the way of a fight and police was NOT what I wanted to do on my first time to the beach. Pictures on the site is very very outdated."

"Galveston as a whole is always good. Our stay at the resort was not the greatest. The resort, or at least our room lacked in the maintenance department completely. One door to the bathroom didn’t latch at all, the other stuck. There was an issue with the bathroom exhaust fan not working, constant humming. Maintenance checked it, turned off breaker and advised with fix the next day. The exhaust fan was still not working when we left the resort."
