We booked the full ocean view room but was given one small room on second floor with roof top obstruction. I called front desk immediately to complain and was given one on 5th, a much larger n nicer room with full view of the gulf. The shower head is amazing, the room is clean with nice decor, bed is firm and supportive. The frig might be a bit noisy. A very nice stay indeed.The ball room, the pool and the common areas are spectacular, full of history

I loved the quality and nostalgia of the property. Everyone was friendly. I would have given a 5 but the service at the restaurant Sunday night was a slow and a little unresponsive. The food was always outstanding and the service in the morning was truly outstanding. I used the valet service as well. I ended up not tipping anyone at the valet because while the car was delivered in a timely way, no one opened our doors or met us at the car. I’d visit again and would give a solid 4.5.
