"The property itself was perfect. A lovely little cabin with all needed for a quiet stay. The main issue for us on an admittedly short stay, were the distance from Whitby and Robin Hood’s Bay. There were no grocery shops within a walkable distance or short drive. "

"The room was clean on arrival. We were there for several nights. You are advised to leave your towels outside your room if you need them changed . Please be aware this is not always so and you may return later in the evening and be stepping over other guests dirty towels. We were also in a room on the lower floors which was not a problem until the lift was out of service and we had to use the stair . If you have mobility problems this could cause you difficult also it like a maze and there's steps where you aren't expecting their to be. So you have to be very careful. Lucky they had the lift fixed by the time we checked out with our suitcases.On saying all that the staff couldn't have been more helpful and were a pleasure. Max the young singer was great. The hotel is lovely and located brilliantly for town and beach."
