Beautiful swimming pool and rooms. Good sunbeds. In 6 days there was no cleaning of tiling area around pool. Appeared to be little to no maintenance of outside areas. Poorest service ever received in a hotel.

A Memorable Family Reunion at Ona Hacienda del Alamo Golf Resort My wife and I recently had the pleasure of staying at Ona Hacienda del Alamo Golf Resort to celebrate a family reunion with my brothers, sisters, in-laws, and mom. The experience was nothing short of exceptional. The resort itself is a beautiful oasis, perfectly blending luxury with a relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere. The accommodations were spacious, comfortable, and well-appointed, providing us with the perfect setting for both relaxation and quality time with our loved ones. One of the highlights of our stay was the impeccable service. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that all our needs were met, making us feel welcome and cared for from the moment we arrived. Their attention to detail and warm hospitality truly enhanced our stay. The resort’s amenities were also top-notch. Whether it was enjoying a round of golf on the beautifully maintained course, lounging by the pool, or dining at one of the excellent on-site restaurants, there was something for everyone to enjoy. The surroundings were peaceful and scenic, providing the perfect backdrop for our family reunion. Overall, Ona Hacienda del Alamo Golf Resort provided us with an unforgettable experience, making our family reunion truly special. The amount of ants and flys was too much to handle you couldn’t eat or drink in peace as they go on your food and even drink of water i felt so bad for one child that was crying because of it .

Nice Hotel for Golfers and golfing only
My room was bright and large. Everything looks beautiful with flowers (I particularly love to see and smell lavender everywhere. Dining options not great: sometimes open, sometimes closed with no notification. Sometimes buffet, sometimes a la carte, again no notification. Reception: staff not too friendly (except for one young man, but unfortunately I did not take his name) Not gracefully offering assistance, even to simply call a taxi for me. I was also told that there was no other restaurants around. I had to eat at the hotel. However, while walking around, 2 minutes walk I found this community with a market store and 3 restaurants. Instead the front desk told me that I had to take a taxi to go to Fuente-Alamo. False advertisement: I chose ONA for the SPA which had been closed since the Pandemic.

We upgraded our room as we got there and hit pool was shut so we got a private pool which was fabulous! Few minor misses from the cleaner. Bath water wasn’t very hot which was a shame as it was a fantastic bath! Overall we had a great stay!

The property is very remote with few onsite facilities. Definitely need to eat at the hotel but food choice poor and was always like warm, they have provided a microwave in the dining room to warm your food which isn’t appropriate when it should be warm to start with. We hired a car but no restaurants or cafes nearby, local town quite deserted. Very little choice, one fish, one meat, pasta, salad, cheese and a small desert selection. No table service, but drinks can be purchased at the bar that were quite expensive. Advertised as a spa hotel with indoor pool which was the reason we booked but this was closed for refurbishment and likely to be for the next 12 months. Outdoor pool far too cold to use and possibly closed, no one went in it for the week of our stay. Check out was 10am, charged us 10€ per hour for additional hour of late check out. No entertainment other than a golf course and a pool table. Room was large and spacious, bed very comfortable but it was full of ants including on the bed. Ants didn’t necessarily bother us but would no doubt be off putting to others. Would not stay again.

We had to stop on the way, and chose this hotel. The rooms are big and comfortable with good views. But they are pretty old and there is a strong smell of dust. The room was so dirty that I refused to shower and went straight home. Found somebodies nail first thing when entered the bathroom. I am not gonna start on the bed, the way it was made and the strong odor.

After last review I provided was asked to give it another go so I did. Staff still nice, service still slow and this time had someone else’s clothes I’m my room!? BEWARE!!! Swimming pool closed until early 2024 but hotels.com don’t tell people (it’s on the properties website but that doesn’t really help when booking on hotels.com) See other reviews saying the same thing…. also worth noting room doesn’t get cleaned or towels replaced for stays under 6 days - just crazy!? Real shame as this hotel could be great but needs some immediate changes to make it on par with others - it’s out of season but still things could be better

The room was brilliant - one of the best rooms I've ever stayed in. The campus was great and the breakfast was ok, but the food service at dinner was appalling. It took about an hour and a half to get a drink and one course.

peaceful place but pool closed all 9 days.
Pool was closed for all of our 9 day stay . Place was quite deserted to which we didn’t mind too much . Breakfast was OK and staff were very friendly and happy which made a difference . We had to ask for towels to be changed daily and the room was only cleaned every 4 days which was ok for us . Very peaceful place but if you need the pool you better check before booking .

Great property service shockingly slow
Property nice, rooms clean albeit they smell. (1003) Staff nice enough however the two main issues are the service is shockingly slow in every single area. Staff are nice enough but checkin just painful, bar the same. if you want just a coffee at breakfast that’s EUR 13 as they only do the buffet - the bar which will sell you a coffee only opens at 1100 in high season?!?! Want a pool towel - no separate towel room you have to go to main reception (if you get your timings wrong) stand and wait for the painfully slow checkin service of others to then pay EUR12 - (10 refundable deposit) to get your towel which is also a slow process - never been to a 4star hotel where you pay and leave a deposit for a simple towel? The hotel try’s to run with the lowest number of staff, one staff member at the bar two nights back and I was in a queue of 17 long…. What with the slow service you can wait a good 30 minutes. Expected a lot better - Ona have a long long way to go if they are to match its Sheraton predecessor. Oh and the second point is the inordinate amount of flies - appreciate nothing can be done outside but at least try and control internally (no attempts visible) whilst we were there - I stress a-lot of flies

El desayuno muy bien, pero la limpieza fatal. El primer día que entramos a la habitación estaba todo el suelo lleno de hormigas y ni cambiaron sábanas en toda la semana de alojamiento...a saber si antes de entrar yo cambiaron las sábanas.
