A beautiful, newly purchased in 2022, 3-bedroom home tucked in the woods, long walking distance to Downtown Friday Harbor! Short walk to the Beach! Enjoy the best of both worlds in this secluded, forest-surrounded home, while also being just outside of Downtown! (Turn Point Retreat).
This freshly bought house is ideal for your family adventure to San Juan Island! This lovely 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom home is spaciously surrounded by fresh evergreen trees with much filtered light throughout the house.
Offering a bathroom on both levels of the home, plus 2 bedrooms upstairs and 1 downstairs (plus an office with a futon), this house is spacious enough for two families.

Enjoy preparing your meals in the spacious kitchen and unwinding with family around the dining table. Catch a peek-a-boo view of the sunrise off the front porch while sipping your morning coffee among the local wildlife and ample deck furniture.

Less than half a mile away is Turn Point Beach, a perfect spot for beach combing, tidepool exploring, and the occasional orca whale spotting.

Downtown Friday Harbor is only 2 miles away, making this home a convenient spot for those desiring the seclusion of a PNW forest and the close proximity to town!

The easy access to downtown Friday Harbor will be a breeze for dining, shopping, catching a tour or shuttle, or just swinging by the grocery store. Cyclists will find the Turn Point Road loop a scenic 4-mile (roundtrip) bike ride (bicycles not provided on-site).

Other nearby attractions include Jackson Beach, LaFarge Open Space, San Juan County Fairgrounds, the Saturday Farmer's Market at Brickworks, the Port of Friday Harbor Marina, and the delicious restaurants of Friday Harbor.

Fire pits are not usable from May 1st-September 30th due to county burn ban and safety of property and neighboring areas. Ban is usually lifted October 1st if/when conditions and weather are favorable. Firewood not provided.

Pets are not allowed at this property.

The owners visit occasionally next door but provide privacy to guests.

Island Wedding Fun

Our three generation family loved this home! The playhouse outback was a hit with our grandchildren. The close proximity to Friday Harbor made trips to town easy and we walked to turn Point Country Park and spotted an eagle! A fabulous place to stay!

Great house for gathering

We had a wonderful stay. House was great. Beds comfortable. Kitchen and gathering spaces excellent. Sufficient space in bedrooms to add an air mattress for one group — sister and brother who do not share a bed.

Beautiful Getaway

What a wonderful home! It was perfect for our family, and we enjoyed every minute we were there! We arrived after dark, and the home was well-lit and inviting. The beds were comfortable, and we were able to prepare several meals in the well-stocked kitchen. We loved sitting outside at the picnic table. If we return to Friday Harbor, we will book this property again.

Beware False Advertising

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Disappointed with our experience at this place. Technically you can put 8 people in this place; we had 6 people and it still felt very cramped. Anyone calling this "master craftsmanship" doesnt know the meaning; more like cabin craftsmanship. The stove is broken. There is another house essentially in the front yard and their garage is in your back yard, which makes the site feel small and intrusive. There is no view except trees and fence that attempts to screen you from the neighbor. Not like we could spend much time in the yard anyway, the septic system is failing and the place stunk like a sewer. The property manager sent several texts and emails but answered none. To be fair, the bedrooms were nice and the beds were very comfortable. The common spaces were cramped. The Turn Point Park is about a 10 minute walk, but its tiny; kind of a kayak launch but not much else. You can see lots of people enjoying their waterfront properties from there, which will give you something to think about while youre slapping bugs in the woods smelling the sewer. For what you get, the price is absurd. I would not recommend this place to a friend.

It accommodated 8 of us comfortably by using the office as a bedroom. Our only complaint is that the cold water faucet in the office did I not work. When we called to have it repaired we were told it has been that way since the house was purchased. The house would work best for 8 people if the sink in the office was fully functional. Also, Turn Point beach is really not accessible. There is about 20 feet of rocky edge. The other beaches there are private.

We rented e-bikes for the day and headed all over the island with lunch at Roche. We started our morning by brewing coffee and sitting outside on the deck. Eagles in the trees and a deer out front was just part of the charm of this location. The house had everything we needed as we even made dinner Saturday night and the supplies were abundant. LOVELY place to stay; highly recommend it.

We were a group of 6 adults in town for a wedding, and there was plenty of space for us in both the common areas and the bedrooms. There were many books and games in the back office area, and the cooking supplies provided were higher quality than I'm used to seeing in a rental property. The bathrooms had wonderful lighting for getting ready. Everyone was really happy with the sleep they got in the super comfy beds, and the location was quiet. We even saw some deer in the yard! Would love to come back with bicycles (or rent scooters in town) and explore the island more.

Charming house - spacious, great amenities and fantastic location. Just outside of town to enjoy the peace and quiet of the harbor yet minutes away from the Main Street. Really lovely all around!
