"Room smelt musty, not clean. The smallest bathroom I have ever seen. Literally a closet. For 172 dollars I expected more. I left before breakfast. Couldn’t wait to get out."

"The rooms are very clean but the bed is hard. All of the staff in the food service area and bar are amazing. The lady who makes the omelets and waffles is friendly and makes a great omelet. The main issue I had was there were unsupervised children running everywhere and no one said anything. They were playing on the elevator and throwing things over the ledge at people on the bottom floor. I said something to the staff at the desk but I don’t think they cared. I definitely think there should be standards about how many people fit in a room. On a positive the hospitality hour is very nice and again the wait staff is amazing. We ordered wings and they were delicious. It’s a very nice hotel just needs to control the environment."

"My room smelled bad. Was unable to accommodate with adjoining rooms. No continental breakfast although it was advertised. The beds were comfortable at least, the pillows no so much. Overall it served its purpose as a cheap place to stay close to what we came for."

"our ac in our first room wasn’t working so we sent maintenance to come fix it they couldn’t, so they moved us into another room that second room the shower was leaking it smelled like mildew! we were also on a very noisy floor. i’m pregnant and didn’t have good experience at all."

"We typically stay in name brand hotels when visiting family in the Gettysburg area, but we decided to give downtown a try this trip. We did not regret it. The hotel is lovely and so, so convenient. It was great being in the center of the action! We will choose Hotel Gettysburg over the chains when we visit in future."
