Book a Franklin Resort

"My family stayed in the one bedroom, double bed. The living room was in a separate space, with a pull out couch. The pull out couch mattress was more comfortable than the double bed mattresses. The staff was friendly. The ice was available downstairs with the staff. Kitchen included microwave, toaster, coffee maker, pot, pan, utensils, dishes, stove top. Dishwasher. No oven. The bathroom was spacious and closet space was spacious. We didn't like that the parking fee was $30 per night, which was not mentioned in the listing. I don't understand why they charged for parking, because we were quite a distance from any other properties to visit- it was in a office industrial park environment. No businesses within walking distance to visit or eat, etc. So, the fact that the hotel charged for parking on a nightly basis was just a money grab. They were taking advantage of their customers. I do not appreciate that. Walmart, fast food, Chinese food, pizza place, etc were within 20 minutes of hotel in Morristown. Medieval Times was in Lyndhurst."

"Hotel did smell good in general. Rooms were clean but did need some general maintenance. Our shower filled up with water as the drain was clogged and the vanity faucet was loose and our door going in and out of room was tough to open but other than that our room for money spent was worth it. Extremely quiet at night and did not hear people talking in hallways. Loved how they had room cleaned and beds made and fresh towels everyday. Most hotels we have stayed in lately do not offer that service so I was very glad to have that especially coming home late after a long day visiting New York City. Overall if in the area again I would stay again. "

"The 2-bedroom suite was perfect for our family of 5. The breakfast here was one of the best we've had at any hotel. Only negative for the hotel was that we had to pay to park in the hotel parking lot. "

"The room was in an appalling state, really dirty, was smelling horrible. I could not stay with my family. Had to book another hotel and leave right away. I want a refund since it was not at all what was advertised in the website. "

"Couldn’t check in for hours. Manager rude, unreasonable, and dismissive. First floor flooded. It was an absolute circus. Laundry machines broken so no clean sheets/towels. No accommodations made. Didn’t get to check in til 7pm at night. The most unprofessional staff I’ve ever dealt with."
