The staff was friendly and welcoming. The hotel is next to tram line 11 and a 5 min walk from line 16. The main station is 10-12mins walk which is considerably close but line 11 drops you right in front of the hotel.

Unser Aufenthalt im sogenannten „Skyline Hotel“ war… nun ja, unvergesslich – wenn auch nicht aus den Gründen, die der Name vermuten lässt. Die Badewanne war ein Abenteuer für sich: Sie war nicht nur benutzt, sondern hatte auch Spuren, die laut Rezeption „Silikonspritzer“ seien – anscheinend ein Standardfeature in jedem Zimmer. Die Zimmer selbst waren extrem dunkel, was das bereits abenteuerliche Einschalten der Nachttischlampen noch spannender machte – eine funktionierte nicht, da am Stecker die Zacken fehlten. Der Stecker sah aus, als hätte er schon bessere Tage gesehen. Das WLAN war ein weiteres Highlight: Ständig wurde man rausgeschmissen, sodass ich nun nach dem Trip ohne Datenvolumen dastehe. Für ein Hotel, das heute noch Gäste aufnehmen möchte, nicht gerade ein Pluspunkt. Parkplätze? Fehlanzeige. Und die Luft im Hotel war so stickig und eng, dass man sich fragt, ob Sauerstoff extra berechnet wird. In der Minibar kostet ein Wasser 4 €, eine Packung Mini-Erdnüsse 3,50 €. In anderen Hotels steht so etwas als Begrüßung kostenlos zur Verfügung. Dann die Aussicht: Skyline? Ist hier wohl als Synonym für „gar keine Aussicht“ zu verstehen. Für den Preis von zwei Nächten hätte ich in einem echten Skyline-Hotel wohnen können – aber anscheinend gilt hier die Maxime: Name ≠ Realität. Der Preis für zwei Nächte war astronomisch, für ein kleines, dunkles, stickiges Gebäude – wer echtes Skyline-Feeling sucht, sollte definitiv woanders buchen.

Great place. Nice staff, and overall a good place. Only negative was the lack of parking spaces near the hotel, but that's a smaller detail. I would love to use this hotel again
